The simplicity of cleaning is worth highlighting: Turn the thermostats to 100°, wait 10 minutes for the plancha to heat up (then turn off the plancha), pour a little room temperature water over it, this deglazes the residue, scrape off the excess juices using a scraper and then rub with a Scotch Brite type pad, then wipe it with a paper towel or cloth. The surface is white and clean again, it is a real pleasure to use it, quite the opposite of barbecues which are very difficult to clean.
